I’m The Blue Artic. Thank you so much for joining me on this journey. 

This music means the world to me and I hope it will mean something to you, too.

When I was a small child, I found a black piano in the attic of our home. I was immediately drawn to it: the plunk of the keys, the complex web of levers and strings inside, the finish so dark you could see yourself in it. Of course, I had no idea how to play the instrument, but I instantly understood its power.

My mission is to close the distance between people. These days, loneliness and isolation hang in the air like the virus that keeps us apart. But, I think we started pulling away from each other long ago. How many nights have we spent, tucked away in tiny apartments staring into tiny screens, looking for each other? How often have we walked alone down a crowded street, searching for friendly eyes or a smile? 

I really want that my music can help bridge the gap between ourselves and someone else. It’s about the liberation and the terror of giving yourself over to someone else. Together, we can listen to the bigger picture.
